ACS ACR38 smart card reader

ACS ACR38 smart card reader

In today's era of rapid technological development, protecting electronic data is becoming increasingly important. That is why integrating smart cards with IT infrastructure is becoming indispensable. ACR38 series smart card readers combine modern technology with attractive design to meet the requirements of smart card based systems, such as electronic payments or electronic identification, where security is of key importance.

Thanks to CCID compliance, ACR38 card readers offer a "plug-and-play" solution, which eliminates the need to install drivers and to check operating system compatibility. The USB interface makes communication with the smart card easier, allowing simple integration of smart card based applications in a personal computer environment.

The ACR38 card reader complies with the ISO 7816 standard and EMV Level 1 specifications. It supports ISO 7816 class A, B and C cards (5V, 3V and 1.8V), including microprocessor cards supporting the T=0 and T=1 protocols, as well as most popular memory cards available on the market.

ACR38 readers offer an optional SAM (Security Access Module) slot - ACR38U-SAM, enabling support for a variety of applications requiring a high level of security. The product is available in different housing versions, including the ACR38U-I1 with FIPS 201 and TAA certification.
