Akozon Ignition Lock Cylinder for VW Transporter T4

The Akozon ignition lock cylinder is a replacement for the original ignition switch dedicated to the Volkswagen Transporter T4 from 1990-2003, compatible with OE part numbers 357905855A and 357905855B. It is a key element of the vehicle's ignition lock system - it is responsible for the ability to start the engine with a key and for mechanically locking the steering column and ignition when the car is parked.

The product is made of high-quality aluminum alloy, which ensures durability, stability and resistance to corrosion even with long-term use in various weather conditions. The ignition cylinder allows quick and reliable locking and unlocking of the vehicle, maintaining high operational reliability even in the more demanding conditions typical of commercial and delivery vehicles.

This part is a direct replacement for the original, so installation takes place in place of a worn or damaged ignition switch, without the need to interfere with other components of the ignition system. However, the manufacturer recommends entrusting installation to an experienced mechanic to avoid accidentally damaging wiring or other parts of the vehicle's electrical system during replacement.

The Akozon ignition lock cylinder is a practical solution for VW Transporter T4 owners who struggle with a loose, sticking or completely non-working ignition lock. Replacing this part restores proper operation of the ignition lock, improving both the comfort of everyday use of the vehicle and its basic protection against unauthorized engine starting.
