Amazon Basics roof rack bag 425 L, waterproof, black

Amazon Basics roof rack bag 425 L

A soft Amazon Basics roof bag with a capacity of 425 liters, made of polyester and designed to be mounted directly on a car roof rack. It is an economical alternative to rigid roof boxes, offering a large transport space while remaining easy to store when folded.

The bag is equipped with eight fastening straps with buckles, which allow a quick and stable connection to the roof crossbars or the car's roof rails. The waterproof, light-resistant material protects the contents from dust, sun, wind and rain, and a wide zipper with flaps additionally prevents water from getting inside.

Construction and storage

Strong seams ensure durable construction even with longer use and a full load. After removal from the roof, the bag can be folded to a compact size and stored in the included storage/carry bag, which makes it a convenient solution when not in use.

The bag measures 110.5 x 85.1 x 42.8 cm and weighs only 2.87 kg, making it a much lighter option than rigid roof boxes. The product is covered by a one-year limited Amazon Basics warranty, which confirms its build quality.

A bag of this type works well for occasional transport of extra luggage - suitcases, sports or camping gear - without having to invest in a more expensive rigid roof box, especially if the extra space is needed only occasionally, e.g. during a vacation.
