Aramox 12V Voltage Regulator (Rectifier)
The voltage regulator, also called a rectifier, is a part of a motorcycle or ATV electrical system responsible for stabilizing the voltage supplied from the alternator to the battery and other electrical loads. Without a working regulator, the voltage can be too high or unstable, which leads to overcharging the battery and damaging bulbs and other electrical components.
Uses
The Aramox model is a direct replacement for the original regulator used in, among others, King Quad 450, 500, 700 and 750 ATVs and similarly built Vinson models. It is made of aluminum alloy, which provides good dissipation of the heat generated during operation and resistance to the vibrations typical of off-road vehicles.
Signs of failure and replacement
Typical symptoms of a faulty voltage regulator are unstable lighting, trouble charging the battery and the battery discharging quickly. Replacing it with a new, working unit that meets the OEM standard is a simple way to restore proper power to the vehicle's electrical system.
