Audio-Technica AT-VM95SH/H – turntable cartridge with Shibata stylus

Audio-Technica AT-VM95SH/H – turntable cartridge with headshell

The Audio-Technica AT-VM95SH/H turntable cartridge is a complete combo set combining a headshell, a dual moving magnet cartridge and a stylus with a Shibata tip. It is intended for people who want to improve the quality of vinyl playback in a home audio system.

Sound quality

The Shibata stylus allows precise tracing of the record groove, so the cartridge renders recording detail better than basic elliptical styli. The dual moving magnet design provides a stable, balanced sound across the entire frequency range, which will be appreciated by both audiophiles and DJs.

Build and installation

The set is supplied as a ready headshell-plus-cartridge combination, which makes installation on the turntable's tonearm easier without having to select and mount the parts separately. The phono standard output lets you connect the cartridge to an amplifier, AV receiver or active speakers equipped with a suitable input.

Applications

The cartridge works well both in a home stereo system for listening to vinyl and in DJ applications, where precise playback and resistance to skipping matter.
