BeGrit - folding kayak anchor 1.5 kg with 10 m rope and buoy

BeGrit - folding kayak anchor

The BeGrit anchor is practical equipment for people paddling a kayak, inflatable boat or small boat who want to stop in one place for a while - for example while fishing, resting on the water or taking photos. The compact size and low weight mean it easily finds a place in a kayak without taking up valuable space for gear.

Construction and use

The anchor is made of galvanized carbon steel, resistant to corrosion in contact with salt and fresh water. The four-fluke grapnel design works on different kinds of bottom - sandy, weedy and rocky. After use, the arms fold easily, and a locking collar holds them in the folded position during storage.

What comes with the set

The set includes a 10-meter tow rope with a hook, a signal float (buoy) that makes it easier to locate the anchor underwater, and a bag for storing the whole kit. The more rope is let out, the better horizontal holding force the anchor gets on the bottom of the water.
