Borgen Mineral Oil for Shimano Disc Brakes 100 ml

Borgen - Mineral Oil for Hydraulic Bike Brakes

A mineral-oil-based brake fluid, produced and packaged in Germany, designed for all types of Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. Topping up or replacing the fluid is a necessary step when bleeding the brake system.

Compatibility

Borgen oil is fully compatible with original Shimano mineral oil - the two can be mixed without risk of damaging the seals. It fits, among others, MT200, BR-M, Ultegra and XT series brakes.

Properties

• Does not foam at high temperatures
• Keeps its properties at low temperatures
• Restores full braking power after bleeding the system
• Bottle with a dispensing tip for clean, drip-free filling

Use

100 ml of fluid is enough for several bleeds, depending on the brake model. The procedure itself requires a separate bleed kit - syringes and hoses (available separately), with which Borgen oil is fully compatible.
