Bosch GBM 50-2 Professional - magnetic drill for steel

The GBM 50-2 is a drill on an electromagnetic base that is attached directly to a beam, sheet or girder. It is used for drilling holes in steel structures, at the assembly of halls and bridges and in metalworking shops. The 1200 W motor and two-speed gearbox let you drill holes up to 50 mm in metal, including with annular cutters via an inserted arbor.

Safety and control

• overload indicator shows how heavily the tool is loaded,
• service display reminds you to replace the carbon brushes,
• overload protection switches off the motor if it jams,
• switch with forced circuit opening,
• safety strap in case the magnet loses adhesion.

Cooling

A coolant tank is included, which delivers fluid to the cutting zone - this extends the life of cutters and drill bits.
