Camping chairs

Camping and folding chairs

A camping chair provides comfortable rest at a campsite, on an allotment garden, at a fishing spot or at outdoor events. In this category you will find folding chairs with a backrest, chairs with armrests and a cup holder, lightweight stools, director's chairs, and ultralight trekking chairs that fit in a backpack.

When choosing a chair, pay attention to the maximum load, weight and folded dimensions. An aluminum frame is lighter, while a steel one is usually more durable. A polyester fabric seat dries quickly and is easy to clean. On uneven ground, wider feet or skids will come in handy, preventing the legs from sinking into soft ground.

If you transport gear by car, chairs with a carry bag are practical, and for hiking trips – the lightest models that fold into a small package. After the season, it is worth cleaning and drying the chair before folding it, so that the fabric does not mildew and the frame joints do not corrode.
