CCTV

Closed-circuit television.

Also known as CCTV or video surveillance, CCTV today serves as a basic pillar in building a security monitoring system for a given facility. Video surveillance is currently used across a wide spectrum, from small facilities such as outbuildings, private homes, shops and company grounds to shopping centers, all kinds of large complexes, and city street monitoring. The key task of closed-circuit television is to protect facilities and the people who are in them.
