CPROSP 1 m heating cable with thermostat – pipe freeze protection

CPROSP – heating cable with anti-freeze thermostat

The 1-meter CPROSP heating cable protects water pipes, gutters and sensitive plants from frost damage. The cable is ready to use straight out of the box – it has a factory-fitted grounded plug and a built-in thermostat.

Automatic temperature control

The built-in thermostat turns the heating on by itself when the temperature falls below 3°C and turns it off once it exceeds 10°C, so the device does not need constant supervision. Heating power is 24 W per meter, which keeps energy consumption down while maintaining effective frost protection.

Use

• Protecting water pipes from freezing in winter
• Protecting gutters from icicle and ice formation
• Heating planters and sensitive plants in a greenhouse
• Indoor and outdoor operation (IP65 protection rating)

Installation

The cable is attached directly to the pipe or other item being protected with tape, and it is then recommended to cover it with thermal insulation, such as foam pipe insulation, which increases heating efficiency and reduces heat loss.
