D-Link DCS-942L VGA LED IR WiFi IP home camera

D-Link DCS-942L VGA LED IR WiFi IP home camera.

Monitor your home.
This advanced Wireless N home network camera for day and night monitoring is a multifunctional solution for home or office surveillance. Unlike traditional webcams, it transmits and records high-quality video and audio for up to 7 days without a break, even in total darkness, thanks to built-in LEDs emitting infrared light. The free mydlink™ service provides the easiest way to access and manage the camera, both from a computer and through an app on an iPhone or an Android device.

Night monitoring.
The network camera enables day and night monitoring thanks to built-in LEDs emitting infrared light. An illumination range of 5 meters makes it possible to monitor, for example, small children while they sleep or an office at night.

Memory card slot.
The camera is equipped with a MicroSD card slot and a 16 GB MicroSD card, which lets you record audio and video directly from the camera without having to turn on a computer. You can configure the camera to record only when motion is detected or continuously, for up to 7 days. Configuration is done through an intuitive web interface. After 7 days (and once the MicroSD card is full) older recordings will be replaced by new ones. A built-in passive infrared sensor lets you detect motion and send e-mail notifications. All these functions can be easily configured using the user interface, which makes this camera a truly versatile home monitoring system.

mydlink™ service.
Connecting a camera to the network and gaining access to it usually requires complex configuration. The mydlink™ service makes it easy to access the camera from anywhere, at any time.

Simple installation.
Using the guide, you can get the camera running in a few minutes by following the step-by-step instructions. Then, on the website, you can set up a mydlink™ account, which lets you view the camera image and manage the camera from any computer connected to the Internet. If the user has more than one camera, they can add all the cameras to an existing mydlink™ account and monitor them from a single place.

Mobile access.
Mobile access to the cameras is child's play. Just download the free mydlink™ app for an iPhone or an Android phone, and then view the camera image anywhere over a wireless or 3G connection. Thanks to the app, mobile monitoring is possible without access to a computer.

The fastest Wireless N transmission.
The Wireless N network camera for day and night monitoring uses the best Wireless N technology to extend the range of your wireless network across your whole home. Wireless N technology enables streaming high-quality video to remote services over the Internet. The site survey function makes it easy to view nearby wireless networks and connect to them. The DCS-942L camera also includes a standard Ethernet port, enabling connection to traditional wired networks.

Complete monitoring system.
You can also view images from up to 32 cameras at once using a Windows computer and the free D-ViewCam software (DCS-100) included in the set. The D-ViewCam software has a comprehensive set of features, including centralized alert management and audio/video recording.
