8 A charging current

The DCB118 is a fast charger for DeWALT XR 18 V and FLEXVOLT 18/54 V lithium-ion batteries. The 8 A charging current means a typical 5 Ah battery charges in roughly 40 minutes, and large FLEXVOLT cells in about an hour. The charger has a fan that cools the battery while charging, which helps shorten downtime.
