Where an ordinary grinder will not fit

The DCG405FN is a version of the popular DCG405 grinder with an ultra-flat gearbox head. The lower head lets you work at a sharp angle, even up to 43 degrees to the surface, which makes cutting and grinding easier in corners, between pipes, near walls and in narrow gaps of steel structures.

• optimized fan effectively cooling the motor and electronics

The weight of the grinder without a battery is about 1.75 kg. Thanks to the brushless drive, the tool runs longer on one battery and needs no brush replacement.

Bare tool version

Version without battery and charger – fits any DeWALT XR 18V battery, and for longer work 5 Ah cells work best.
