A short saw with great power

The DCS382 is a reciprocating saw with a shortened body, intended for work in confined spaces: between studs in framed walls, in shafts, under sinks and when removing joinery. The brushless motor provides strong blade feed, and the manufacturer states a maximum cutting capacity of 300 mm in wood, 130 mm in steel and 160 mm in PVC pipes.

The ability to reverse the blade makes it easier to cut elements right next to the ceiling or floor, and the adjustable shoe lets you use the full length of the teeth and extend blade life.

N version

The version without battery and charger - fits any DeWALT XR 18V battery, and for longer work 5 Ah cells work best. The N variant is delivered without a case; the version in a TSTAK case is designated DCS382NT.
