Grinding concrete and stone

The DT3797 is a 125 mm diameter diamond cup wheel with turbo-type segments, mounted on angle grinders with an M14 thread. The thread built into the body lets you screw the wheel directly onto the spindle, without flanges. The wheel is used for rough grinding and leveling concrete, stone and masonry surfaces.

Use

• removing unevenness and burrs from concrete,
• stripping off residues of adhesive, mortar and paint,
• chamfering the edges of slabs and steps,
• preparing the substrate before laying tiles or screed.

Features

The turbo-shaped arrangement of the segments ensures fast material removal and good dust evacuation. Openings in the body improve cooling and reduce weight. For work, a dust extraction shroud connected to a vacuum cleaner is recommended, as well as goggles and a dust mask, because grinding concrete produces a lot of fine dust.

A wheel for grinding concrete requires a grinder with a power of at least about 1000 W and steady two-handed guidance.
