Rubber seal for car door edges

A universal U-shaped seal designed to protect and seal the edges of doors, the trunk lid and other metal edges in cars, vans, caravans and boats. The seal is placed directly on the sheet metal edge, protecting it from damage and improving the body's sealing.

Construction

The profile is made of EPDM foam rubber reinforced with embedded steel clips, which hold the seal firmly on the metal edge. This construction provides a stable fit without the need for glue.

Properties

EPDM material provides good sound insulation, vibration damping, dust protection and wind-proofing. The seal works over a wide temperature range, from -40°C to +120°C, keeping its flexibility and resistance to aging from weather conditions.

Installation

Installation consists of pressing the flexible profile onto the sheet metal edge - no glue or extra tools are required, so you can fit the seal yourself in a dozen or so minutes.

Use

It works as a seal for doors, the trunk lid, service panels and other metal edges exposed to damage or to moisture and noise getting into the vehicle interior.
