Eastron SDM630 Modbus V3 – multifunction energy meter

The Eastron SDM630Modbus-V3 is a three-phase digital electricity consumption meter mounted on a DIN rail (4 modules wide, 35 mm). The device measures energy in both directions, which lets you track both power drawn from the grid and energy fed back, for example from a photovoltaic installation.

Reading and communication

The measured values for individual phases can be read directly from the backlit display on the meter housing. The device also offers remote communication via an RS485 Modbus-RTU interface and two S0 pulse outputs, allowing connection to energy management or billing systems.
