ECOWITT WH51 + GW1200 - soil moisture monitoring set with WiFi gateway

The set combines four wireless WH51 soil moisture sensors with the GW1200 gateway, which receives data by radio and makes it available over a WiFi network in the Ecowitt app - a convenient solution for a garden, lawn, farm field and potted plants.

Four sensors, one gateway

A single GW1200 gateway supports up to 16 WH51 sensors, so you can monitor soil conditions in many places on your property at once. The WH51 sensor starts recording moisture data just 72 seconds after being placed in the soil.

Additional indoor sensor in the gateway

The GW1200 gateway has a built-in 3-in-1 sensor that measures temperature, humidity and pressure in the room where the device stands. WiFi setup is quick from the Ecowitt app.

Data readout and history

After connecting to the network, real-time data can be viewed in the app or on the free ecowitt.net portal, where charts and measurement history are also available, along with the option to set up e-mail notifications.

Garden weather station and soil monitoring

As an Ecowitt WiFi gateway, the GW1200 is a small garden weather station for the room where it stands, and each individual WH51 soil moisture sensor supports daily soil monitoring on the lawn and in pots.
