ECOWITT WS90 - outdoor 7-in-1 weather sensor

The WS90 is a standalone weather sensor designed to work with Ecowitt gateways or consoles (sold separately). In one compact housing it combines seven weather station measurement functions.

Seven sensors in one housing

The device measures rainfall with a tactile sensor, light intensity and UV radiation, wind speed with an ultrasonic anemometer with no moving parts, and air temperature and humidity, and a built-in indicator makes it easier to orient it toward north.

Power and range

The sensor has a built-in solar panel and a backup battery, which ensures continuous operation without having to replace batteries. Radio transmission in the Sub-G band reaches up to 150 meters in more difficult terrain and up to 500 meters in open space.

Compatibility

The WS90 works with many Ecowitt gateways and consoles, including the GW1100, GW1200, GW2000, GW3000, HP2550 and HP2560, so it can be added to an existing weather station system.

Accessory for expanding a weather station

The WS90 weather sensor is a weather station accessory that combines a rain sensor and an ultrasonic wind sensor, and radio transmission in the 868 MHz band, in other words Sub-G radio, provides long range without interference.
