ERRECOM PAG 46 – car air conditioning compressor oil

Use

ERRECOM PAG 46 oil is intended for lubricating car air conditioning compressors, including electric compressors, running on R134a and R1234yf refrigerants. It is used during service, topping up or changing the oil in the air conditioning system, in line with the vehicle manufacturer's recommendations on oil viscosity.

Properties

The oil has very good miscibility with the refrigerant, which ensures effective return of oil to the compressor and maintains the high efficiency of the whole air conditioning system. It has high extreme-pressure strength and good hydrodynamic and lubricating properties, thus minimizing wear of the compressor's mechanical parts.

Durability and safety

The product has a low tendency to absorb moisture from the air, which reduces the risk of corrosion inside the system. Good thermal, chemical and hydrolytic stability increases the reliability and service life of the air conditioning system, and high biodegradability makes it less burdensome for the environment than mineral oils.
