febi bilstein 45969 - serpentine belt kit with tensioner and idler

febi bilstein 45969 - serpentine belt kit with tensioner and idler pulley

This complete febi bilstein kit contains all the parts needed for a one-time, full replacement of the accessory belt drive: a serpentine belt, a tensioner and an idler pulley. Such a kit removes the need to select and buy individual parts separately and guarantees that they are compatible with each other.

Kit contents

• Serpentine belt, 8 ribs, length 1635 mm, EPDM material
• Accessory belt tensioner
• Idler pulley guiding the belt

Benefits of replacing as a kit

Replacing the belt, tensioner and pulley at the same time ensures even wear of all components in the system and minimizes the risk of a single component failing soon after the repair. This is especially important with large engines, where a broken accessory belt can immobilize the vehicle.

Use

The kit is intended for commercial vehicles with a large diesel engine (including buses and trucks), where the accessory drive works under heavy load and requires components of increased durability. EPDM material withstands high temperatures and contact with lubricants well.

Installation

Replacement requires releasing the tensioner, removing the old belt and removing the idler pulley from the engine bracket, then installing the new parts according to the belt routing diagram provided by the vehicle manufacturer.
