Foreign-language comics

Foreign-language comics

In this category you will find comics published in foreign languages, mainly English, French, German and Japanese. There are American superhero comics, European Franco-Belgian albums, graphic novels and manga in original editions.

Comics in the original attract collectors who look for editions unavailable in Polish, as well as language learners – the pictures make it easier to understand the context of the dialogue. It is worth matching the difficulty level to your skills: albums for younger readers have simpler language than mature graphic novels.

Before buying, check the language, format, type of binding, and whether the edition is a single issue or a collected volume. With manga, pay attention to the reading direction and volume number. Collectors will appreciate information about the edition, variant cover and the condition of the copy. Omnibus or trade paperback collected editions gather several issues in one volume and are more convenient for reading a continuous story.
