The Fusion SG-DA41400 is a 4-channel Class D amplifier designed specifically for marine applications. Peak power reaches 1400 W, and the design takes into account the harsh conditions aboard a boat or yacht, including moisture and salty air.

Protection and build

A conformal coating on the PCB protects the electronic components from corrosion caused by moisture and salt. A stainless steel outer cover additionally protects the controls and connectors, while giving the unit a neat, discreet look. The aluminum housing acts as a heat sink, dissipating heat and improving the amplifier's performance.

Connection options

The amplifier has four speaker channels that can be used to power speakers at the front and rear of the boat, and thanks to the bridging function some channels can be combined to drive a subwoofer. RCA line inputs are included, which makes it easy to connect to a new or existing audio system.

Power

The unit works in a 12 V system (nominal voltage 14.4 V), typical for boats and yachts. Class D technology provides high energy efficiency in a relatively compact amplifier.
