GardenGloss weed control fabric 150 g/m², 50x1 m

Weed control fabric 150 g/m² – roll 50x1 m

A durable garden fabric intended for natural weed control without chemicals. The thick material with a weight of 150 g/m² effectively limits light reaching the soil, inhibiting the growth of unwanted vegetation under mulch or paving.

Use

The fabric works well in rock gardens, vegetable gardens, under garden bark and gravel, and also when building decks and laying paving stones as a layer separating the ground from the surface. Thanks to its high tear resistance it can be used under a relatively heavy load, e.g. a layer of stone.

Material properties

The material is easily cut with scissors or a knife without fraying at the edges, which makes it easy to fit to the shape of a flower bed or path. It lets water and air through, so it does not disturb the natural circulation of moisture in the soil.

Advantages compared with chemical weeding

Unlike herbicides, the fabric works mechanically and introduces no chemical substances into the soil, which makes it a safe solution for growing vegetables and ornamental plants.
