Garmin Alpha TT 25 – GPS collar for dog tracking and training

The Garmin Alpha TT 25 is an electronic collar that combines GPS tracking with dog training functions. The collar works as a pair with a compatible Garmin handheld device, sold separately, such as the Alpha or Pro 550 Plus.

Dog tracking

When connected to a compatible handheld device, the collar lets you track the dog's location at a distance of up to 15 km, with position updates as often as every 2.5 seconds. The update rate is chosen dynamically based on the dog's movement, which saves battery power when the animal moves more slowly or stands still.

Training functions

The collar offers 18 levels of stimulation, both continuous and momentary, as well as a tone and vibration that can be used in dog training. All of these functions work only in combination with a compatible Garmin handheld device, which controls the collar.

Identification and construction

A built-in multicolor LED (choose from, among others, yellow, magenta, cyan, white, green, red or blue) makes it easier to spot the dog in the dark. The housing has a universal size that fits large and small breeds, and the strap can be replaced by the user. The collar connects to a Wi-Fi network while charging, which allows software updates to install automatically.

Battery

The standard battery provides up to 68 hours of operation, and the optional extended battery increases the run time to 136 hours with dynamic tracking.
