Garmin dēzl LGV820 – GPS truck navigation, 8″, Europe maps

Garmin dēzl LGV820 – GPS truck navigation

The dēzl LGV820 is a Garmin car navigation unit designed specifically for truck drivers. The large 8-inch high-resolution touchscreen can be mounted horizontally or vertically, to suit the cab layout. The device comes with Europe maps preloaded and plans routes that take the vehicle's size and weight into account.

Routes tailored to the truck

The navigation calculates the route from the entered vehicle parameters - size and weight - and warns in advance about low overpasses, sharp turns and other obstacles typical for large vehicles. The map also shows an overlay with warnings about strong wind on the route.

Features for professional drivers

The device uses dēzl community data - drivers share ratings of truck parking areas, loading docks and security gates, which makes it easier to find a suitable place to stop or unload. Satellite aerial views help recognize the entrance to the destination site before you arrive. The navigation can be controlled by voice, without taking your hands off the wheel - several European languages are supported.

Connectivity and set contents

The dēzl connects via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and once paired with the dēzl app on your phone, it downloads traffic, fuel price and weather data and passes on phone notifications. The set includes a car mount with a suction cup and a powered magnetic mount, a screw-on mount with a ball adapter, a power cable and a USB cable.
