Garmin Forerunner 970 - AMOLED running watch, LED flashlight

Garmin Forerunner 970 - running watch with an AMOLED display

The Forerunner 970 is an advanced Garmin sports watch aimed at runners, with a bright, high-contrast AMOLED display that is readable in any lighting conditions. This unit also comes with a Whitestone protective cover that shields the case and glass from scratches.

Flashlight and long battery life

The watch has a built-in LED flashlight, useful for morning or evening workouts in low light, without the need to carry a separate headlamp. The battery lasts up to 15 days in smartwatch mode, so you plug the device into a charger less often.

Navigation and training analysis

The built-in GPS module and maps let you track your running route precisely and explore new trails without a phone. The watch records heart rate, distance and step count, and advanced training metrics such as training effort tolerance and running economy help you assess your progress and adjust your training plan.

Build

The strap is made of silicone with a buckle fastening, and the 47 mm case is water-resistant, so the watch is also suitable for swimming.
