Garmin Intelliducer – NMEA 2000 depth sensor for boat mounting

The Intelliducer is a Garmin transducer that passes measurement data to an NMEA 2000 network. As a result, readings can be shown by compatible onboard devices, including the GMI 10 instrument.

Use

The NMEA 2000 network is the standard way of connecting navigation instruments on boats. It lets you send data from one sensor to many displays at once, without running separate wiring for each device. After connecting the Intelliducer to the NMEA 2000 backbone, readings appear automatically on compatible Garmin equipment, including the GMI 10 display.

Installation and build

The unit is attached to the boat with a dedicated boat mount, which makes installation easier without permanent intervention in the hull. The housing is black.
