Garmin Vivofit – fitness band with heart rate monitor, black

Garmin Vivofit – fitness band with heart rate monitor

The Vivofit is a lightweight, water-resistant activity tracking band operated with buttons and equipped with a simple rectangular LCD display. The NiMH-type battery lasts about a year without charging, which sets it apart from bands that need to be plugged in every day.

Activity tracking

The device counts steps taken, estimates calories burned and shows progress toward your daily activity goal. The band learns the user's activity level and adjusts the goal for the following days by itself, and red bars on the display remind you when you have been sitting still for too long.

Heart rate monitor and sleep

The package includes a separate chest-worn heart rate monitor, which records pulse data during exercise. The band also shows the time and monitors sleep quality during the night.

Data synchronization

Data from the band syncs wirelessly with the Garmin Connect app, so you can review your activity and sleep history on a phone or computer and compare progress between days.
