The 32-piece GSR set is a complete kit for manual metal threading, intended for machine shops, locksmith workshops and industry. The set lets you cut internal and external threads in the M3-M12 range, in accordance with the DIN 13 standard, which makes it a versatile tool for repairs, production and assembly work.

Set contents

The kit includes seven hand taps (M3-M12), seven round dies, an adjustable die holder no. 1 1/2, a 25 x 9 die handle and a thread gauge. Everything is packed in a durable metal case with an insert that keeps the tools organized and makes them easy to store in the workshop.

Materials and use

The tools are made of ground high-speed steel HSS-G, which makes them suitable for cutting threads in unalloyed and low-alloy steels up to 800 N/mm2, malleable cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous metals. The set works for both through holes and blind holes.
