This massive colonial wardrobe from India is a piece of furniture that immediately becomes the focal point of a room. Handmade in the state of Rajasthan and decorated with carvings and iron fittings, it references traditional Indian craftsmanship combined with English influences.

The body is made of waxed sheesham wood, and the back of acacia. It is a solid wood wardrobe, so every piece has a unique grain pattern and differs slightly from the others.

Interior and use

Inside there are two shelves, and the doors have a raised panel. As a clothes wardrobe it works in a bedroom, and in a living room or hallway it can be used to store bedding, tablecloths or books. The dark brown color and the carved wardrobe suit colonial, oriental, rustic and vintage interiors.
