GXCHEN Aluminum Bicycle Frame 26 Inch – for Mountain Bike, Black

GXCHEN Aluminum Bicycle Frame 26 Inch

The frame is the basic structural element of a bicycle, to which all the other components are attached – fork, wheels, drivetrain and parts. The GXCHEN model is designed for mountain bikes with 26-inch wheels and can be used both to build a bike from scratch and to replace a damaged frame on an existing bike.

Material and strength

The frame is made of aluminum alloy with a baked-on paint finish, which provides good corrosion resistance even in a damp or rainy environment. The thickened tubing and precise welds at the joints translate into a load capacity declared by the manufacturer at 80-120 kg of rider weight.

Geometry and compatibility

The frame is designed for 26-inch wheels, standard on recreational and youth mountain bikes. The frame size (seat tube height) is about 43 cm, which you should compare with your own height and the dimensions of the other components (fork, seatpost, handlebar) before deciding to buy.

Assembly

The integrated frame design and the full set of mounting accessories included allow a relatively quick build or conversion of a mountain bike. The net weight of the frame alone is about 1.85 kg, which for aluminum alloy is typical for this class of product.
