HEAD Kore 117 men's ski touring skis 177 cm, without bindings, white

HEAD Kore 117 - ski touring skis

The HEAD Kore 117 is a lightweight pair of skis designed for riding in deep snow and off-piste, working well for ski touring (randonnée) and for hunting first tracks in fresh powder. The model is supplied without bindings, which lets you choose tech-type bindings that match your own style of climbs and descents.

Construction and weight

The unique construction of the skis uses a blend of graphene, carbon and karuba wood, which significantly reduces the weight of the skis without losing downhill performance - key on longer climbs on climbing skins. The sandwich construction is reinforced by a new shape of the top layer, which improves the durability of the skis in contact with rocks or hard firn.

Behavior on snow

The 117 mm waist width provides good flotation in deep, fresh snow, while the skis remain stable and smooth in handling through larger turns and uneven terrain. This makes the model work well both for free freeride skiing and in typical off-piste ski touring conditions.

Intended use

The skis are intended for men of proven skill level looking for equipment for longer mountain trips, where both lightness on the climb and secure handling on the descent matter.
