HEXIMO XPS LED ceiling moldings 10.2 m, profile for indirect lighting

HEXIMO ceiling moldings - LED profile for indirect lighting

HEXIMO ceiling moldings are a set of trim made of extruded polystyrene (XPS), intended for installation at the junction of the wall and ceiling and for creating attractive indirect lighting. The set includes 10.2 meters of molding divided into 6 strips of 170 cm, with a cross-section of 56 x 70 mm.

Shadow gap effect and LED lighting

The profile is designed to create a so-called shadow gap - a subtle, modern architectural accent on walls and ceilings, also used in plasterboard. The inner channel of the molding is designed to hide an LED strip, so you can achieve a gentle, indirect ceiling lighting effect without visible light sources. The surface has self-adhesive grooves that make it easier to attach the LED strip and a slightly rough texture that ensures good paint adhesion if painting.

Material and installation

The moldings are made of XPS with a density of about 45 kg/m3 and fire resistance class B2. They are installed with polystyrene adhesive, which allows mounting them also in rooms with increased humidity. The manufacturer recommends covering the LED channel with aluminum foil to prevent the strip from showing through the molding material.

Use

HEXIMO ceiling moldings work well in living rooms, bedrooms, corridors and other rooms where a ceiling finish combined with LED lighting is planned. It is a solution for people who want to give an interior a modern, elegant look without complicated construction work.

It is a ready, branded system of ceiling moldings, made in Germany, that lets you do a professional ceiling finish with indirect lighting yourself.
