The Hitachi DS14DL 14.4 V cordless drill driver is a tool equipped with an innovative 14.4 V lithium-ion battery, which provides up to 3 times longer runtime than traditional NiCad batteries, while weighing 50% less. What is more, these batteries are backward compatible, allowing use with existing Hitachi DVF3 and DMR cordless tools.

Advanced technologies

This drill stands out with a powerful torque of 460 inch-pounds, which makes it easy to handle even the toughest tasks. It is equipped with a mechanical two-speed gearbox and a variable-speed trigger that allows precise adjustment to different tasks. The two-speed switch is located on the side of the handle, offering 4 different speed settings: from 0 to 200, 400, 850 and 1759 rpm. In addition, the drill has external carbon brushes, a replaceable armature, a 2-piece motor with rare-earth magnets and a 5-position belt hook with an integrated LED work light.
