hygger HG246 – aquarium air stone kit with 62 mm stone and accessories

hygger HG246 – aquarium air stone kit

A complete tank aeration kit: a flat, square 62 mm red air stone and the accessories needed to connect it to most air pumps. The pump is not included.

Included

• 62 mm air stone
• air tubing
• adjustable control valve
• check valve
• T-shaped connector
• suction cup

How it works

The stone is made of corundum and stainless steel, sintered at high temperature and heavy enough to stay on the bottom. It produces fine bubbles, and their size can be adjusted with the valve. The flat shape increases contact between air and water, which raises the amount of dissolved oxygen. It is suitable for aquariums, small ponds and hydroponics, in fresh water only.

Use

Before first use, soak the stone in water for 1 to 2 hours, and after a few weeks clean it with a brush when it starts to clog.
