Italeri 7404 NSU HK 101 Kettenkrad 1:9 – half-track military

Italeri 7404 – NSU HK 101 Kettenkrad in 1:9 scale

A large military vehicle model in an unusual 1:9 scale, depicting the famous Kettenkrad, the half-track motorcycle NSU HK 101 used during World War II. The assembled model is about 33 cm long, so it clearly stands out from typical kits in 1:35 or 1:72 scale.

Why it is worth it

The large scale allows a lot of detail to be shown: the track drive, handlebars, seat and small fittings. The Italian brand Italeri has produced kits since 1962 and has an established reputation among modelers, and this model kit is an interesting proposition for collectors looking for something more than another tank.
