Jabra Link 860 – audio processor for call center workstations

The Jabra Link 860 is a wired audio processor that lets you connect one headset to both a desk phone and a computer with a softphone at the same time. The user switches between calls from both devices and controls two independent audio channels.

Use

• contact centers and customer service departments during migration to softphones
• recording desk phone calls through a computer
• playing announcements and greeting recordings from a computer on the phone line
• training sessions in which computer sound goes to the headset

Sound quality

Digital signal processing, a built-in equalizer and PeakStop protection improve voice clarity and protect hearing from sudden volume spikes. The housing has a volume control and a microphone mute button.

Compatibility

The device works with Jabra headsets with a Quick Disconnect connector, so a company can keep using its existing headsets after switching to computer telephony.
