James Brown – soul funk vinyl record on colored vinyl

This is a live record by James Brown, called the Godfather of Soul, pressed on translucent, marbled brown-orange vinyl. Every copy looks slightly different, so the record is an interesting addition to a collection as well as a decoration you can display on a shelf.

Repertoire

The track list includes the artist's greatest classics, among them I Got You (I Feel Good), Get Up Offa That Thang, Give It Up Or Turn It Loose, Try Me, Get On The Good Foot and Cold Sweat. It is the essence of the funky, rhythmic style that influenced successive generations of artists.

Vinyl for the funk beat

Soul vinyl conveys the warmth of the vocals and the fullness of the brass, while funk vinyl brings out the pulsing rhythm section of the recordings. The colored pressing makes the record a decoration for the room, not just a music medium.
