JBL Charge 5 with Hardshell travel case

The JBL Charge 5 is a portable Bluetooth speaker in a hard protective housing, additionally equipped with a dedicated hardshell travel case. The set lets you take the speaker on a trip, camping or to the water without worrying about scratches or splashes.

Sound and construction

The speaker uses JBL Pro Sound technology - an optimized long-throw driver, a separate tweeter and two passive bass radiators, which translates into full, powerful sound in any room and outdoors.

Water resistance and battery

The housing has an IP67 rating, so the speaker is resistant to immersion in water and to dust. The built-in battery lasts for many hours of music playback, and the speaker can also serve as a power bank to charge a phone through the USB port.

Connecting multiple speakers

The PartyBoost function lets you connect two JBL speakers in stereo mode or link many compatible models into one larger audio system for a party.
