JBL Professional AC16 – ultra-compact installation speaker

The AC16 is a two-way passive speaker from JBL's professional series, designed for permanent sound installations – under a balcony, on a column or on a wall. The compact metal enclosure houses a 16.5 cm (6.5 inch) woofer and a one-inch compression driver tweeter with a 90 x 90 degree dispersion waveguide, which provides even sound coverage in clubs, conference rooms or restaurants.

Power and sound

The speaker handles program power of up to 320 W, and its passive design lets you combine it into larger sound systems powered by an external amplifier. Connection is provided by dual Neutrik NL4 connectors and an additional screw terminal, which makes wiring easier in permanent installations.

Mounting

The solid metal enclosure allows floor placement or mounting with the optional U-bracket (model MTU-16, sold separately). The compact dimensions make the speaker well suited wherever a discreet look matters while keeping professional sound.
