JBL Stage3 527F – 13 cm car speakers without grilles

The JBL Stage3 527F is a pair of 13 cm (5.25 inch) two-way coaxial speakers in a version without grilles. They are designed to be installed behind the factory grilles in doors and side panels.

Construction

• 3 ohm impedance (DCR) for better use of power

Sound

Power of 40 W RMS and 200 W peak with a sensitivity of 91 dB delivers louder and fuller sound than factory speakers. The shallow mounting depth makes installation easier in limited space.

Installation tips

Before buying, measure the diameter of the opening and the mounting depth in the door or on the shelf, and check whether your car requires a mounting adapter. When connecting, keep the wire polarity, plus and minus, matched so that the bass is not canceled out. The best results come from additionally sound-deadening the door with a damping mat.
