Johnny Cash – At San Quentin & At Folsom Prison, CD, country

Johnny Cash – At San Quentin & At Folsom Prison

This release combines two legendary live albums by Johnny Cash: At Folsom Prison from 1968 and At San Quentin from 1969. Both were recorded during performances for inmates in California prisons, and both became milestones in the history of country music.

About the release

The concerts captured the artist's raw energy and the extraordinary atmosphere of meeting an audience from behind bars. The songs include Folsom Prison Blues and A Boy Named Sue. The set, released by Sony Music in 2006, lets you hear both recordings in one edition.

Who it is for

This release is a classic that every lover of country, rock and roll and American roots music should know.
