The K&N AirCharger 63-1043 intake system replaces the factory air filter and housing on certain Toyota Tundra models. The K&N intake eliminates airflow restrictions, which positively affects engine power by increasing airflow. As a result, the engine can use the incoming air more efficiently, which translates into more power and better performance across various rpm ranges. The kit includes a high-flow K&N air filter with a chrome cover and a heat shield, installed in place of the original air box. Thanks to the specially designed intake tube, air is directed straight into the intake system, providing an additional power gain. The oversized filter can last up to 100,000 miles before service is required, depending on operating conditions. Installation of the intake is simple and requires no special tools. The product is not available for sale in California due to emissions regulations.
