KADAX bee feeding candy with 8% pollen 20 x 1 kg – beekeeping feed

KADAX bee feeding candy with pollen

Feeding candy is a ready-to-use supplementary food for bee colonies. It is useful when natural forage is limited by cold, rain or a period without flowering plants. The set contains 20 blocks of 1 kg, enriched with 8% pollen.

How it works

The solid consistency of the candy means the bees take it slowly and evenly. This gives the colony a steady source of energy for a longer time, and the beekeeper does not have to top up the feed often.

Advantages for the beekeeper

• no mixing, dissolving or heating required,
• can be placed directly on the frames or on top of the nest,
• 1 kg portions make dosing easier for individual colonies,
• helps support the colony in spring and after the honey harvest.

Data

Feeding candy is used as a supplement, not a replacement for natural forage. It is best stored in a dry, cool place, in its original packaging, and before use you should check that the consistency is right. A supply for many hives suits hobby and larger apiaries. The bulk pack is also convenient for winter feeding of many hives at once.
