Keenso 56K - external USB fax modem for faxing from a computer

Keenso 56K - external USB fax modem

The Keenso 56K is an external modem that turns a computer into a device for sending and receiving faxes - without needing to buy a separate, bulky fax machine. Faxes are handled directly from the computer, which simplifies everyday office correspondence.

Fax and data transmission

The modem works to the V.92 standard, offering downloads at up to 56 kb/s, uploads at up to 48 kb/s and a fax mode of up to 14.4 kb/s. It also supports caller ID (CLIP), which makes it easier to identify the sender of an incoming transmission.

Installation and compatibility

The device connects to a computer through a USB 2.0 port in plug-and-play mode, and to the phone line with the supplied cable. The modem works with older Windows systems (98 SE, ME, 2000, XP, Vista, 7), so it is useful for keeping running workstations that use older accounting or office software which still relies on faxing.
