Korg Poly-800 Polyphonic Synthesizer analog synthesizer keyboard

Korg Poly-800 Polyphonic Synthesizer analog synthesizer keyboard

In the years when Roland was enjoying success with its Juno series, KORG introduced its own polyphonic synthesizer, the Poly-800, in 1983. At the time, the Poly-800 competed with the Juno-106, offering musicians access to affordable, programmable analog polyphonic synthesizers that cost less than 1000 USD. The instrument featured memory, stable DCO (digitally controlled) oscillators and modern MIDI technology (without SysEx implementation).
