LCQSYE - ECU engine control unit EDC17C55 (0281017918)

Use

The engine control unit (ECU/ECM) is the central electronic unit managing engine operation - it controls fuel injection, ignition timing, air metering and communication with the vehicle's other modules. The presented module is based on the Bosch EDC17C55 platform, used in many diesel engines, and serves as an OEM replacement with the number 0281017918.

Construction and quality

The module housing is made of stainless steel, which ensures resistance to the high temperatures in the engine bay and a longer service life of the component. The manufacturer declares precise calibration of the reading parameters and of the output levels related to exhaust emissions, which translates into stable and predictable operation of the unit.

Important information before buying

Engine ECUs are programmed for a specific vehicle (VIN number, engine variant, software). Before installation, you must check that the OEM number matches the number of the part removed from the vehicle, and have the module programmed/matched by a workshop with the appropriate diagnostic equipment.
