What it is for

Liqui Moly 3077 brake paste is a maintenance product applied to the metal parts of the brake system – the backs of brake pads, caliper pins and guides, and the contact points between the pads and the disc. The paste's ceramic base forms a thin lubricating layer that reduces friction where metal meets metal, without weakening the braking action itself.

Effect of use

The paste's main task is to eliminate unpleasant brake squeal and vibration that appear when braking, especially at low speeds or after the vehicle has been parked for a long time. The paste also prevents caliper pins and guides from seizing, which makes future servicing easier and helps the pads wear evenly on both sides of the disc. Thanks to its high-temperature resistance, it keeps its lubricating properties even under heavy brake use.

Application

The product is suitable for workshops and home users when replacing brake pads on passenger cars and vans. It is applied in a thin layer to the indicated metal surfaces – never to the friction surface of the pad or to the brake disc, as this could reduce braking effectiveness. A tube with a dispenser and brush makes precise application easy without making a mess.
